Development of any society begins with protection and preservation of self esteem
Self reliance is essential for the development that brings true freedom.
Bed Rock of a Happy Society. Rising above selfishness and moving away from charity.
SWABLAMBAN SWABHIMAAN PARMARTHA
The three founding pillars of the Philosophy of Shivganga
“Self reliance is essential for the development” is a universal truth but it is often over looked that self-respect is essential for self reliance. ‘Shivganga Samagra Gramvikas Parishad’ firmly believes that the development of any society begins with protection and preservation of self esteem, which acts like a catalyst for self-dependence, which ultimately leads to the development.
There has been a systematic effort of neglecting, ignoring and even exploiting the innocent population particularly during 200 years of ‘British Raj’ which unfortunately continued even after independence. Therefore it is the need of the hour to address the situation by all like minded people who believe in social harmony through restoration of Self Reliance and Self Respect.
SHIVGANGA BELIEVES THAT THERE ARE THREE IMPORTANT DIMENSIONS OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT. AND WE HAVE BEEN ENDEAVOURING TO WORK IN ALL THE THREE DIMENSIONS
Starting of every social change is the feeling of responsibility amongst its members. Shivganga starts with inculcating in the individuals right motivation. We through various programs try to inculcate the spirit of service and feeling of responsibility.
Vananchal Sashaktikaran Varg is the foundation programme where the youngsters from various villages are inspired and motivated in 3 day camps through innovative, interactive and participative means. And these youth, as has been our experience, have acted as agents of change in their villages and in the society as whole.
Knowledge widens the horizons of human thinking. Knowledge is essential prerequisite to take correct decisions. Knowledge is a must to correctly understand ourselves as well as the rest of the world.
Through the Vananchal Sashaktikaran Varg, in its three day foundation training, Advanced 8 days training, Gram Engineer Varga Shivgange has been bridging the gap in knowledge amongst the tribals of Jhabua. Other Programs like Awareness Program, Village Library Drive and Gram Samriddhi Mela also this pious objective is achieved.
Right Knowledge and right motivation are are like the base of a building. To build an edifice over the ground, we need right skills. The logical follow up of the previous two endeavours of Shivganga is to provide the Skills to the People that they can utilise to translate their intentions to Actions. Accordingly our current focus is to provide these youth the skills that can generate productive employment amongst them, that can make them entrepreneurs. We are in the process of setting up a Skill Training Centre at the Shivganga Ashram, Dharmapuri.
